Black paper, glue, & chalk make the perfect combination for process art with a literacy surprise! Easy, hands-on fun for all ages at Easter and all year round!
Water painting is a fun outdoor activity for learning sight words, such as Chinese characters! To review words related to rain, my daughter traced each character in chalk raindrops with a wet paintbrush.
To reinforce food vocabulary that we learned last week with the sticker and craft stick activities, I drew pictures of food on the concrete and wrote the character name beside it. My daughter had a blast pouring water while calling out each character!
