How to teach Korean as a second language to kids

Are you a parent or teacher that wants your kids to have fun learning Korean? What’s the best way to teach kids Korean?

When my children were younger, they became fluent in Korean thanks to a wonderful nanny. Although I could speak minimal Korean, I wanted to support their heritage language as well as our nanny’s valiant effort.

During the first few years of my children’s life, I researched how to teach kids Korean. At that time, there were no resources geared for American kids, so I created my own Korean learning tools. This preparation was important for setting up a fun, immersive Korean learning environment at home.

As my children transitioned to school and we parted ways with our beloved nanny, we were unable to keep up with Korean.

But I don’t want all of that effort to go to waste. That’s why I’m grateful for the chance to share all of my Korean teaching tips and resources with your children.

I hope our experiences and resources can help your bilingual family or school!
