Printable Birthday Banners and Cake Toppers (Chinese, Korean, English)

Printable Happy Birthday Banners Chinese and Korean
Bilingual birthday banners over the kids’ art carts

Normally, I’m pretty lazy about decorating for my kids’ birthdays, but this year we tried to make our home a tiny bit more festive! Since my children and I have been learning Chinese together, I made printable Chinese birthday banners and cake toppers! I also translated the birthday banners to Korean and English, my kids’ other languages. The birthday decorations are perfect for home or school!

Since fun printables in Chinese and Korean are not readily available in the US, I hope they can help save time and cost for your celebration.

  1. Print out banners. For smaller banners, set printer to print “multiple per page” as shown in the above below in red circles. I printed 2 banners per page.
  2. Trim shape with paper trimmer and scissors
  3. Optional: Trace each number with gold paint pen
  4. Punch 2 holes at the top of each banner
  5. Thread ribbon or string in each hole
  6. Tape on wall or shelf with painter’s tape (test small area first to make sure that it does not damage your wall)

Amazing vegan chocolate zucchini birthday cake recipe!

We’re so grateful that we can celebrate birthdays in a safe and inclusive way despite my son’s many food allergies!

If you’re looking for yummy cake ideas:

  • We made Vegan Chocolate Zucchini cupcakes from Jean Wang’s Extra Petite blog, and it was soooooo delicious. As someone who is not a great cook, I thought it was pretty easy to make! She has clear directions on substitution ideas, and here are the changes we made:
    • In lieu of eggs, we subbed 1 whole ripe mashed banana and baked it 10 minutes longer.
    • For the toppings, we used Simple Mills vegan chocolate frosting (available at Target and Walmart) plus sprinkles.
    • To minimize waste, we use this set of pretty pastel silicone cupcake liners. If you’re looking for a brighter color, this rainbow set of baking cups has thousands of 5 star reviews!
  • If you don’t have time to bake from scratch, Simple Mills has this tasty vegan chocolate cake mix.
